Tom Foolery was set up in October 2016 with one aim; to give the local community of Boston Spa a hub where they can meet, eat, party or just relax after a hard day. Our bar is licensed for alcohol from 11am until 12am most days, where we keep the good vibes going with varied playlists, friendly service and top banter.
We host a weekly quiz as well as being available for private hire where you will recieve VIP treatment, your own music selection and lush vibes. We are proud of the hard work we commit to making sure that you have a great time.
We take fun seriously so you don’t have to.
Open 7 days a week, were serving up Mediterranean inspired Tapas on an evening, alongside weekend brunch and a fresh lunch menu featuring class sandwiches & light salads. Were sticking with what we do best though, so were still slinging pizzas on an evening, and for those days you can’t make it over to our little corner of Boston Spa, were still open for takeaway, both for collections and delivery if you’re a local!
We take pride in our carefully curated wine menu, developed in house by Marc and Nathan over lockdown. We’ve kept some Tom Foolery classics on the list and snuck some exciting new bottles in between to keep things fresh and in season.

If you’re in for a pint, as well as serving the best Guinness in Yorkshire, we have a great relationship with local breweries such as Ilkley and Northern Monk, and further field with the likes of Mikkeller and Delirium, so we’re never short of some class craft beer to sample. Come and find your favourite out of our 12 draught lines!
We’re proud to have partnered up with Alex and the crew at La Bottega Milanese to bring the finest coffee in the region to Boston Spa. A delightful blend of Ethiopia, Colombia, Brazil and India, freshly roasted in the rolling hills of the pennines every Tuesday by Darkwoods Coffee.
Our tea is provided by Canton, stocked in some of the world’s leading restaurants, hotels and bars. All their teas are single estate and speciality grade.
We allow kids under the age of 18 until 7pm daily. We’re all set to entertain with colouring books, board games and toys, we make sure they’re having fun so you can too.
You don’t have to leave the dog behind either, there are some great walks down Boston river so you might as well grab a well deserved coffee and a piece of cake before you head back. Whatever the breed, if they’re a good boy or girl they’re welcome until 7pm.
